The signal lantern IML 85 AL LED is a compact marine navigation lantern with a intensity of more than 20 candela.
The lightsource is a single LED of high intensity and depending on which visibility is needed the light output can be programmed accordingly by means of a infrared remote control.
Total vertical divergence is more than 11 degrees at 10% of the intensity at I0.

The signal lantern base is made of marine grade aluminium painted with two layers of high impact epoxy coating, the color is the same as the emitted light.

In the lantern a membrane is incorporated for airpressure equalization and for blocking moisture to enter the lantern housing.
The applied flasher has a: charge regulator function and infrared remote control for setting the led current, character setting (221 preprogrammed IALA flash codes), daylight sensor setpoints.
Electrical parameters as ledcurrent setpoint, battery voltage, and day/night switchingpoint among others can be read.
The marine lantern is reverse polarity protected.
